Another fun day in town

When Minna wakes up, she's still at their first real destination with Max.

In the morning they go out to the next bakery and buy some buns.
After having the best breakfast for days, Max leaves again to visit his friends while Minna stays at the ship waiting for her new friend Jonra.
This time, Max gave Minna some money, so she'll be able to buy something herself.

Minna is a little bored, but she doesn't want to go out now.
She doesn't trust herself to find back to the ship once she leaves it.
She only found her way back because Jonra helped her.

So Minna keeps waiting for her friend.
And soon Jonra finally comes.
She came a little later than expected, but Minna is still happy about it.

Oh, good morning!

So Max isn't here today?

No, he's visiting some friends again.

Minna is a little annoyed. Does she actually only care about Max?

And why didn't Max take you with him to introduce you to his friends?

I just wanted to explore this town on my own.

Jonra nods.

So Minna and Jonra leave the ship and wander through the town together.

Jonra leads Minna through the town, pointing out shops and landmarks.
This time, Minna tries to memorize the way back to the ship properly, but she would probably still have difficulties to find back on her own.

The streets are lively, filled with people selling food and handmade goods.

Minna proudly shows Jonra the money she got from Max and then gives the money to a man in one of the booths.
In return she gets a meat spit.

Good choice. I know these.
Can I have a bite?

Minna isn't sure about that.
Jonra is her friend, but they've only known each other since yesterday.
She could just buy one for herself, right? And it's also weird to eat from it after someone else took a bite. The only person she would allow this with is Max.

Okay, you get one of the meat pieces.

Jonra immediately moves her mouth closer and pulls one piece away from the spit.
And then she puts it in her mouth completely and starts chewing.
Minna has to laugh. It looks a little funny.

They continue walking while Minna is still eating her meat.
The town is really exciting. It looks totally different wherever you go.
They were just in some rather open area with some old small houses, and suddenly reach narrow alleyways through multilevel buildings.

Look, there's a shop for electronics!

They have mobile phones, too.

These things I could use to talk with my mom?

They enter the small shop. There are very modern TVs, but also other devices Minna has never seen before.

Soon they reach the phones.
It's a bunch of devices with huge screens.

How much money do you still have?

Minna shows all her money.

Oh, that's definitely not enough for one of these. But maybe a simple one might work.

They go to the side and find some small phones with a screen that looks as if it's specifically designed to display letters and numbers.

Minna stares at the phones, fascinated.

You really should get one. Then we could talk even after you leave.

Should be a little more than half of your money. Also depends on the model, but these are all pretty cheap.

She takes one and gives it to Minna.
To her they don't look any different.

Minna buys the mobile phone and they leave the shop again.

They continue exploring the town together.
But after a while they decide to go back to the ship.
Minna is already pretty exhausted.

When they arrive back at the harbor, Jonra hesitates before leaving.

Maybe I could stay a little longer?
I don't have to be home right away.

Oh! Sure, you can stay for a while.

And so they enter the ship together again.
